Hi, I’m Damilola Olorunduyilemi, founder and Creative Director of DeeFabulous AfroCasual.

My love for fashion began long before I imagined owning a brand. At five years old, I would sit and watch my mum sew, fascinated by how she turned beautiful fabrics into stunning outfits for herself and for us, her children.

Growing up in Nigeria, fashion was more than what we wore. It was a way of expressing our identity, celebrating our culture and telling our story. The vibrant prints, rich fabrics and timeless artistry of African fashion still inspire every collection we create.

Starting this business wasn’t just about selling clothes. It was about creating something meaningful that celebrates culture, builds confidence and inspires people to embrace who they are with pride.

How it came together

From a childhood watching fabric turn into clothing, to a brand that carries that craft across two countries.

Beside my mum, at five

Watching her sew was where it started. I loved every piece she made, and the dream of creating beautiful clothing of my own took root there.

Training in Lagos

I pursued professional sewing and fashion training in Lagos, Nigeria, where I refined my skills in garment construction, finishing and craftsmanship.

A new chapter in the United States

After moving to the United States, my vision grew stronger. I wanted a brand that blends the richness of African heritage with contemporary style: elegant, thoughtfully designed, and versatile enough for everyday moments and special occasions.
